Marble City Pharmacy - Store
Marble City Pharmacy opened on May 27, 2003 in the old Ogletree Plaza at 264 West Fort Williams Street with owners Danny Johnson and James Hobson. Danny’s youngest son Jacob joined them in 2005 as the third pharmacist for the store. Following Mr. Hobson’s death in 2008, Jacob took over his half of the pharmacy ownership. In June, 2011, Danny’s oldest son, Jared, left his teaching position at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy to join his dad and brother in the now truly family business. By caring for their customers/patients in very special ways, the pharmacy’s business continues to grow. If you are not satisfied with the way you are treated in your current pharmacy, come in and experience what it is like in an atmosphere that is truly “the way a drug store used to be”.
At Marble City Pharmacy, we have four exceptional pharmacists with many combined years of pharmacy experience. We also have experienced and courteous pharmacy technicians and clerks to help you with your needs. We feel that our staff is one of our strongest areas, and we are confident that you will feel the same after getting to know them.
We sell more than just prescriptions at Marble City Pharmacy. We have a full line of over-the-counter medications for a variety of ailments, a wide selection of vitamins and supplements, durable medical equipment (such as braces, crutches, walkers, canes, and supplies for the bed-ridden patient), adult diapers, baby supplies, feminine hygiene supplies, support hose, and custom-fit diabetic shoes.
We also have a fully stocked gift department with beautiful and unique gifts from such companies as Grasslands Road, Seasons Jewelry, Lady Jayne, Melissa and Doug, and many more.
